This is a best seller because it includes two of our favorite barrel-aged coffees and two of our favorite non-barrel-aged. 

This box set includes 4 bags of whole bean coffee. Here is more about each of them: 

- Bourbon barrel-aged: No "flavoring" has been added. It's 100% natural with just one ingredient: coffee beans. The rest of the flavor comes from spending time in a freshly emptied bourbon barrel. The sweetness of the barrel's charred oak, which initially deepened the taste of the bourbon it held, interacts with our green coffee beans, plumping them up with flavor before we roast them.

- Rye barrel-aged: As with any good spirit, it starts with the nose. When you open this bag, you can smell the sweet notes of your favorite dram of rye. On your first sip, you can taste it. It's a great cup of coffee, with more depth and complex flavors from being aged in a freshly emptied rye whiskey barrel. 

- Single Origin Ethiopia: This is a medium roast with all the bright, fruity aromatics you'd expect from a good Ethiopia coffee, as well as a pleasant acidity level with earthy undertones. Citrus notes with black tea and wine finish. 

- Single Origin Guatemala: The medium-dark roast really gives this coffee the deep flavor we enjoy. It's full-bodied with a citrus-like acidity. The nutty and sweet flavors make it a crowd-pleaser.

 Notes:

None of our coffees contain any alcohol. The barrel-aging just imparts the great flavors from the spirits it once held. 

All of our coffees are whole beans. We recommend an electric burr grinder (sold at a wide range of prices) or our hand grinder.

Try them all, but don't open them all at once. Coffee oxidizes so you want to try to finish an open bag within 10 days.
